The heart and soul. A 1953 239 flathead V8. Rebuilt to factory specifications. It was bored .20" over the valves were reground/ all bearings were replaced/ a new oil pump, fuel pump were also installed. The breather and oil canister were sent out to be chromed and a set of accel wires were hooked up. The exhaust was modified with the use of a set of fenton cast iron headers and dual exhaust |
With the rest of the truck together the interior was screaming for attention, so I added a little touch of the present with some styling upgrades. A set of custom seats from a van shop that swivel and recline were inserted into the cab. The carpet was a shag deep pile red to accent the seats. The door panels were fabricated and covered in diamond tufted crushed velvet. A custom overhead console was also fabricated to hold the stereo and numerous other controls and was also covered with the same material as the door panels |
